Mirusia

Opera in the Gardens 2025 features a brand new show by Viva La Musica Productions and hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Brookfield, Kenmore and Toowong.

After a stunning performance in 2024, the sensational songbird soprano Mirusia returns by popular demand, joined this year by baritone Kristian Scott, soprano Zoe Catchpoole, the Viva La Musica Orchestra, pianist Matt Rofe, and other special guest vocalists.

This year’s theme, "A Magical Winter Garden Experience", will celebrate songs inspired by love, seasons, passion, and the beauty of winter.

Whether you consider yourself an opera buff or a musical novice, you'll be hard pressed not to enjoy spending an afternoon in the stunning subtropical surrounds listening to exquisite music with a hamper and drinks, all while supporting important local causes.

In this production there really is something for everyone, so why not bring your friend, family, or even child or grandchild along for their first taste of opera and musical theatre.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Drug ARM’s street outreach services and Rotary’s local domestic and family violence initiatives.

We can’t wait to share this enchanting winter afternoon with you.
